my nephew is growing up so fast. he's going to enter kindergarten next month! i watch over him like twice a week and am amazed by so many things that he has learned. he's polite, cute, funny, and very helpful around the kitchen. oh how i wish my kids are more excited like him when it comes to helping me with house chores and cooking.
beside from learning the good, he has also acquired some bad habits from his day care. picking up bad words from his peers, his choice of words are much rougher now. every time i see him, i have to spend some time correcting his mouth. what's more, he starts to lie!
just yesterday, he came to me, asking if he can watch my Cars DVD. i said, "sorry, not now. it's time for dinner." then he goes over to my son saying, "umm (that's what he calls me) says ok!"
WHAT?!?!?!
how can a cute little kid like him lie so easily?
