What are you going to do with all the books? Can you give me some advice on deciding what to keep and what to "recycle"? I'm only beginning since Julianna is in K this year...I know I can't keep everything, but it sure is hard throwing their work out!
thanx for your comments, angelina! i welcome your comments cuz for awhile, i wonder if anyone is reading this and think if i should continue to blog or not...
for me, i am such a keeper... but throughout many years, i've learned to let them go and keep our stuff to the minimum as possible so our house won't be clustered with things/junks.
the books you see stacked are things that yuki has studied... aaand i kept on thinking that yuka can use them as well. but i found out that she doesn't even look at them for reference so they were just collecting dust.
for good reading books, i give them away to friends who would appreciate them. for any other books, i either sell them to reuse stores or i take it to the recycle center where they can reuse the paper.
as for your kids work, man, that's a whole another story. i do keep my kids' kindergarten things (very precious!)and some artwork and paper essays... but i do try to not keep ALL of them cuz that would take so much more space... i only keep things that are very special (which is very hard to decide cuz they all seem special!)
Thanks, Grace! That really helps! I'm a total keeper also...and somehow Rachel inherited my genes and multiplied it...she wants to keep EVERYTHING...even what I want to get rid of, which isn't very much! Your words are exactly how i feel about their work...it's so precious! It's very hard for me...thank you for your encouragements!
