graduation

it's graduation season in japan. my son will be graduating in one and a half week! there's this song called, "tabitachino hi ni" and it has become very popular to sing it in the graduation. they even sang it in disney sea commercial. it's low graphic but you can view it here.


in america, the graduates are filled with balloons and flowers, celebrating all in smiles with family and friends. soooo different from japanese graduation! over here, parents are in formal dark suit, and everyone gets emotional over how this is their last day of school and says thank yous and good-byes. being a sensitive one myself, i know i would need to bring a whole box of tissue...
