and yes, even Monaka got to go with us because we stayed at a cabin which pets were allowed.
inside the cabin. pretty fun!Unfortunately, my husband was called and had to go back to his hospital to attend to his patient so he wasn't able to be with us for dinner. But he was able to drive back to the cabin by 11pm. Poor dearest. While we had a gourmet french for dinner, he had only salad stick and nuts from 7 Eleven convenient store. I guess that's what he has to deal with when practicing solo with no tag team.
Then we played table tennis. I haven't played in ages! Since my son is in table tennis team at school, I was impressed by how good he was! I got close but he beat me!
Then we hiked a little to see a waterfall.
then climbed a little bit of the Asama vocano. This is the one that erupted in Feb 2nd of this year.
My daughter thinks that the rock next to her looks like a lion, thus, she's saying, "growl!"
There was a shiny rock and when we got closer, we found out that the shine was from 1 yen which people placed. interesting.
All in all, it was very relaxing time with family. Monaka even got to get a nice dog treatment. haircut, nail cut, and even a dog massage! How nice! Thanks to my fil who suggested this family outing. With everyone's busy schedule, it's getting harder to do so and this was first time ever that we got to vacation together.
