perfect day for ice cream!

i don't know about where you live but it's been pretty warm spring in japan. i "hear" from fb comments that it's been pretty hot! in japan, the heat hasn't hit as high as so cal but it has been very warm, if not, hot. what a perfect day for a trip to baskin robbins! it's been quite awhile since i last went. my daughter got this seasonal flavor:


it's cotton candy flavor! i tasted a bite from her and it tasted just like.. cotton candy! i think one bite was enough for me though. she happily finished the whole thing herself.

my son got the standard flavor:
lemon sherbet! he is the totally opposite of my daughter and prefers sour over sweet.

aaaand, i got:

strawberry choco dipped! strawberry ice cream with 3 different kinds of cute strawberry shaped chocolate and chocolate chips and with strawberry sauce.. mmmm, yum! i must say, this really hit the spot for me.

since it was their grand opening, we also got little ice cream magnets which are only given to the first 3000 customers. to tell you the truth, i dragged my kids there cuz i REALLY wanted these cute ice cream shaped magnets. muhahahaha.
