So, to be able to see Dennis, I had to leave my house BEFORE my kids left for school and had them take care of themselves. Haven't been on a train during the rush hours for so long... I was so sardined that I couldn't even get to take out my camera to take a pic. It's amazing how all the commuters deal with it everyday. I can only last a day doing so!
I was hoping to treat uncle Dennis to a nice Japanese breakfast.... but unfortunately, we couldn't find anywhere that was opened that early around the hotel that he was staying at... yeah, no sushi nor kobe beef for breakfast. bummer eh. So, we ended up at... a New Yorker's Cafe. Haha, sorry, not very Japanese... not at all...
Talking to Dennis is a blast. He never fails to make me laugh. He sure is a nice breeze of blessing.
Next time, Dennis, if we only have early morning hours to meet up, let's go eat sashimi at Tsukiji fish market. (THE biggest seafood market in the world)
I was laughing my heart out when I saw his keys to his hotel room. With all the high technology in Japan, it was so funny that this place uses a key that looks very much like a key to a barbie doll house or girl's toy princess treasure chest.
After sending him off to the airport, I did some errands in Tokyo area and went home, thinking that I need to do all the house chores that I left in the morning.
but I found....
dogs fed
kitchen cleaned
all the dishes washed
laundry done
rooms cleaned
trash taken out
all I can say is, "wow" because I didn't expect them nor tell them to do all that before they had left for school in the morning.
I just want to hug my kids and say, "Well done, good and faithful son and daughter! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your mom's happiness!" Hahaha. Seriously, I think I should go out more and put them in charge of more things. (^o^)

What a fun way to spend a morning! You never leave a visit with Dennis without sore cheeks from laughing and a smile on your face!
So cool to see Uncle Dennis in Japan! And I'm so impressed with your kids doing all that... my dream.
@Jackie: so true, so true...
@mama: my dream came and went in a day.... This morning, my daughter left a mess in the kitchen and we had a big fight over cleaning up after you cook and eat. *sigh*
