My kids had said that they had watered it while I was gone but I guess it just needed some loving. Now they are looking much better.
As I take care of my plants, it's a simple pleasure but seeing their bloom make me smile. The BSF study of Isaiah comes to mind of how God was disappointed after He took care of his vineyard (us), watered us, fertilized us, and hope to produce fruit, but found only bad fruits (chapter 5). What a contrast of the reclaimed vineyard in chapter 27 where God sings as He watches and waters and guards His vineyard, to find it produce good fruits. Just imagine, He SINGS when He sees us bloom and bear good fruit!
