alarm clocks

It's been so cold in the morning so it's extra hard to wake up and get out of the bed. My son WAS a morning person but lately, he hasn't been able to wake up. So, for Christmas, we got him what he requested:

It's a JR Yamanote Line train alarm clock! He had seen this on newspaper and thought it would be cool to wake up with the melodies of the train stations. The green color matches the color of the train and since the line makes a complete loop in about an hour, so does this clock with stations around it. Pretty clever, I must say.

Even with this new alarm clock though, I hear his alarm clock go off at 6:30am and wakes everyone else BUT him! He doesn't get out of the bed until 8am! oh well, it's still winter break until next tuesday anyway.

For me, I wake up with "High and Lifted Up" by Hillsong every morning. What a way to start my day, singing, "You are high and lifted up! And my soul sings Hallelujah to the Lamb!"
