are you flaky or waxy?

back in september, i blogged about black q-tips in japan. i bought one and tried it and found out that it works really well with one type of earwax and not so great for other type of earwax.

if your earwax is a flaky kind (the dry type), then this black q-tips works wonders. the white ear poop really stand out in contrast to black and you KNOW how much you got to dig them out. it's funny how much joy and contentment you get by seeing your accomplishment. you go through more q-tips, trying to see if you can get more ear wax (or flake in this case) on the black q-tips. it's kinda addicting.

on the other hand, if you happen to be the waxy kind (the wet type), then you are out of luck. from the usual white q-tips, you get satisfaction from seeing the shades of yellow ear wax. but on black, you can't see anything but black...it's definitely no fun.

i've heard that the wet type is dominant and the dry type is recessive. BUT asians are more likely to have the dry type whereas caucasians and blacks are more likely to have the wet type. i don't remember what type my parents have but i am the wet type. (haha, i am an oddball!) so for me, black q-tip is not fun for me.

posting pics of the big differences between black and white q-tips would be gross so...no pics.

okay, this was too much useless talk on earwax... i've been reading ecclesiastics and this blog was definitely one of those "meaningless things under the sun."
