my babies are all growing up

as of yesterday, my daughter finally is able to swallow medicine tablets in one gulp without failing! wopeeee! what a big accomplishment for her to be able to do it! i am soooo proud of her because she has been struggling with it for a long time and never got the art of swallowing the tablets. it would make her life much better now that she can take her medicine without tasting that bitter taste!

my son had his taiikusai(sports day) at his jr high school yesterday. i was surprised to see the japanese version of the pyramid.

the 1st year (7th graders) with 4 tiers. they turn right, left, forward, then count to 3 and they collapse on purpose: (haha, i never done THAT before!)

really amazing... and very scary! and the ground is not grass but dirt and gravel! ouch!
