wow, there's only 3 days remaining for the month of may! how time flies. june is a time for koromogae (change of seasonal clothes) where the clothes in drawers need to be changed from fall/winter clothes to spring/summer clothes. i usually do all of my family's clothes while they are at work or at school. but it dawned on me this time that my kids are old enough to do it themselves! so, one saturday morning, i suggested to them to do it themselves. my son was done in a flash cuz he lives with minimal amount of clothes. my daughter, on the otherhand, has sooo many clothes. here's a pic of her SITTING on a pile of her clothes and picking up every single one of them to see if it still fits her or not.
since she was literally trying ON EVERY clothes, it took so much longer than if i were to do it but having her organizing her own clothes has made her realize what kind of clothes she has. and also discover clothes that she never knew she owned.

i must say, she is a good organizer. she was putting away the clothes in orderly fashion... the same brand, same color, same style, etc etc. so she knows exactly what and where her clothes are when dressing up every morning.
why didn't i think of letting them do this earlier?
btw, when i did my own clothes, i found out that i have 8 black pants! either i need to reduce, or get more colored pants. lol!
